Your videos have been invaluable. I too can’t really justify spending (over $700 USD) for a watch no mater how much I love them.
I have a C60 Trident (my fave), Tissot PRC200, Hamilton, Raymond Weil and a few Invictas. You site has expanded my view to smaller boutique brands with very beautiful offerings, appealing pricing and excellent craftsmanship.
Good job! Keep reviewing and I’ll keep reading. Thanks again!!

I agree with Dave, it would be cool to see a review of entry level watch winders, what do you use to keep your watches in tip top condition.
Thank you for a very informative site, before discovering your site I had no idea there where so many affordable mechanical watches. (Under £500)
Keep up the good work.

What my problem is now is keeping them all wound. of There seems to be a plethora of winders on the market from cheap to prohibitive. What we need is you with your eye for detail to review some of the 2-4 watch winders of the less prohibitive variety so that we can give our watches the home they deserve. how about it? Kindest regards to the best blog on the net. Dave

Went looking at the site you suggested. They now have a blank version of the Rodina, with the option of a red “12”, so no “made in china” or “Rodina” or any text at all. I am guessing your readers would like that, especially ones that do not like the “made in China” text. Really fits the Bauhaus aesthetic now, being so bare. Best wishes. Nigel

I was wondering what are your favorite watches in the price brackets that you have on this website? I’m interested to know, since you have fantastic watch videos.

I recently stumbled upon a German watchmaker called Marc & Sons. I just ordered their Sub homage the MSD-023 and absolutely love the watch. Wondering if you had any experience with this firm and if you’ll consider reviewing them? Keep up the great reviews!

I had a knock-off Casio with a funky yellow plastic strap that I bought in Thailand whilst backpacking, but I don’t wear it for obvious reasons. I’m drawn to automatic (that’s mechanical, right?) watches, and the Erroyl looks beautiful; however, I’m put off by the calendar: it’s not perpetual, and the thought of having to correct it every month feels wrong, like buying a calculator that gradually over time gives the wrong answer unless I reset it. I’d much rather the Erroyl not bother giving the date at all if it can’t do it properly. Am I overreacting? Is it really a pain to have to correct the date so often?

Hi John, I’ve reviewed the Steinhart Ocean 1, but not seen the GMT in the flesh. But, I’m pretty sure it’ll be the same quality and feel – just with a different bezel and the extra hand. So I feel it’s an outstanding watch for the money.

I’m a professional pilot and have always wanted a Rolex GMT Master, but for the price!. I like what I’ve read about the Steinhart Ocean GMT and would like to know your opinion, if any, about it in particular. Thanks.

Like you, I’m a big fan of Christopher Ward watches (I read about your site in the latest CW magazine) though in my case I favour an “old” and well travelled C6 Kingfisher. I’m really taken by the Gruppo Gamma watches which I’d never heard of until I saw you great review (I have an alert set with them – fingers crossed). If you’re not aware of Magrette watches from New Zealand check them out as I think you’d like them. I can vouch they’re solidly built and reliable as I’ve owned a Mona Pacific Pro for over a year now. The service from the company is first class as well. Good luck and I look forward to reading more reviews.

As a result of your review I purchased the Mako and I’m suitably knocked out with it, a fantastic watch for the price. However after a few evenings of checking out more of your reviews I now have my heart set on a Steinhart Ocean Vintage Military. Just wanted to say keep up the good work, I really enjoy the style and the ethic behind Watch It All About – any thoughts on the Orient Neo70’s ?
